Three founders, one pond and a lot of questions.
Bogura is farming country. The land near the Karatoya is fertile, the markets are busy, and people here know their food. Most of us grew up around fields, ponds and cattle sheds, so farming was never a new idea. What bothered us was how much of the food people buy has no clear story behind it.
In 2020 we started SwapnoDanga Agro on a small piece of land with a fish pond and a poultry shed. The name means a dream land, and that is how it felt: a patch of earth where we could grow food the way we thought it should be grown.
Since then we have added dairy, rice, corn and grass on leased land, and we have learned most of what we know by doing it ourselves.

A pond and a shed
We began with a fish pond and a poultry shed on our own land.
More land, more animals
We leased five acres for rice, corn and grass, and brought in dairy cows.
Closing the loop
We started using one part of the farm to feed the next, so less goes to waste and less is bought in.
What comes next
A feed mill and a hatchery of our own, so quality is in our hands from day one.
